| Our services have been retained to recruit an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER for a $1.5 billion food division of international corporation. Our client is experiencing rapid growth (50% growth in past 5 years!) and seeking a high potential Engineer to expand their engineering organization (new position). On-site role that will be based at 2000-person production facility adjacent to US HQ and located in small community within commuting distance of city of 150,000 and equal distance between Chicago and Indy. The ELECTRICAL ENGINEER provides engineering support for the electrical, control, distribution systems functions working independently with other engineers. This position is responsible for hardware and software process control systems and equipment and will include any associated instrumentation. The Electrical Engineer gathers performance data to evaluate areas of opportunity, designing modifications to improve safety and performance. Detailed job description available upon request. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, Electrical Design, or Controls Engineering. 8+ years controls/electrical engineering experience in manufacturing plant environment, food preferred. Knowledge of a variety power, and controls with Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC programming Adept in low and medium voltage electrical systems, and troubleshooting Require flexible schedule to work off shifts, overtime, including holidays/weekends in sometimes varied temperature environments Salary in the $130,000 range with 10% bonus potential, competitive benefits and relocation assistance.
