Our services have been retained to recruit (two) SANITATION SUPERVISORS for one of the nation’s most successful and recognizable food processors. Both positions are on DAYS and located in:

1) OH/IN region – small town – facility of 500+ nonunion 2) Central MA/CT region – near medium size community – facility of 300+ nonunion

Overview: Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, provide daily leadership and guidance to the sanitation crew, while ensuring training and technical support for employees in the department to insure maximum efficiencies within the department. Will be responsible for implementation of programs and policies; will provide guidance, direction and coordinate all responsibilities for the Sanitation department which includes Safety, Quality, Engagement, Training, Performance, etc.; responsible for Third Party Inspections, Hygiene plan, employee training and safety programs such as Elevated Work, Confined Space, and Respirator Fit programs for the plant; identification of operational savings; reduction of cleaning time; development of SSOP's and Sanitation Standard Work; assist in the validation of line cleaning; ongoing verification of line / equipment cleaning; and necessary internal inspections.

Will supervise sanitation team, across three shifts and weekends, of 2-3 hourly Sanitation Group Leaders and 15-20 team members. The Sanitation Supervisor is predominantly day-shift assignment but must be willing to work off-shifts or weekends when necessary.

Requirements include: Four-year college degree, preferably in a science (food science, biology, microbiology, etc.) 2+ years direct supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment Sanitation knowledge, skills and experience preferred

Salary on both in the $60-68,000 base range (depending on experience) with paid OT (realistically 10% of base) along with excellent benefits.
