| Our services have been retained to recruit a PROJECT ENGINEER for a $1.5 billion food division of international corporation. Our client is experiencing rapid growth (50% growth in past 5 years!) and seeking a high potential Engineer to expand their engineering organization (new position). On-site role that will be based at 2000 person production facility adjacent to US HQ and located in small community within commuting distance of city of 150,000 and equal distance between Chicago and Indy. The PROJECT ENGINEER provides designs, l proposals from conception according to specification encompassing simultaneous multi-site projects. Manages capital and MRO projects. Coordinates equipment selection, startup, and installation while maintaining project status updates and cost control. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. 8+ years manufacturing experience preferably in food – meat processing experience would be a plus! Knowledge of managing/scheduling multiple capital projects simultaneously Must have understanding to electrical control systems, mechanical systems encompassing ammonia refrigeration, water, hydraulic systems, etc. Utilize OSHA, USDA, EPA best practices Salary in the $150-160,000 range with 10% bonus potential, competitive benefits, and relocation assistance.
