|Our services have been retained to recruit a Human Resources Generalist I for Pennsylvania based privately held, emerging/fast growing, multi-plant food processor. Position based at company’s HQ facility (South Central PA equal distance between Philly and Pittsburg – community of roughly 20,000). Reports to Human Resource Manager and will be tasked to learn and aid in people leadership and consultation to management on the people-related matters that impact the business. This individual is a person of integrity and respect who maintains professionalism and confidentiality while building strong business partnerships with both employees and management. Will work on projects and tasks which help employees thrive professionally, financially, physically and emotionally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned.
• Partner with leaders to understand talent needs, business direction, HR metrics and trends, and organizational strategy in order to identify appropriate organizational changes, create workforce plans and meet business objectives. • Learns basics of company’s internal policies and procedures in order to best support and assist employees and leaders. • Assist in providing day-to-day coaching and guidance to supervisors and management people-oriented matters, such as coaching, leadership expectations, career development, etc. • Reads, analyzes, and provides recommendations when there are changes in all federal, state, and local mandated regulations within the Human Resources disciplines. • Develops and analyzes human resources trend data to make proactive recommendations on company-wide changes, including policy changes, benefit changes, etc. • Acts as a key change agent by leading successful implementations for new and changing policies and procedures, both within the HR department and company-wide. • Works with HR Analysts in the research, evaluation and rollout of new modules that will enhance the functionality of HRIS Systems to meet business requirements. • Helps to identify training gaps within the company and develops and conducts training to meet the needs, as well as maintaining current training practices. • Enacts company’s benefit programs in accordance with company policy as well as local, state and federal law. • Champions company culture and participates in discussions and problem solving for helping to enhance the employee engagement. • Audits human resources programs for adherence to federal, state and local laws. • Works with other HR team members to help achieve department strategic goals and metrics. • Defines and clearly documents HR business processes and procedures. • Works with diverse internal customers to ensure high customer satisfaction. • Ensures self-development through education, training, networking and experience.
Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field and 2+ years HR experience in manufacturing setting. • Professional HR Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred
Salary in the $70-75,000 base range with potential for profit-sharing as well as competitive company benefits. This is immediate need!
