|Our services have been retained to recruit (two) HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALISTS for an 800+ person, nonunion, state-of-the-art food production facility in the central valley of California (community of 25,000 roughly equal distance between San Francisco and Los Angeles). Our client is one of the most successful, profitable and progressive food processors in the world and there exists an abundance of opportunity within the HR arena at this flagship location as well their many other plants in CA and around the U.S.
The HR Generalists will help grow, mentor, and support the 800+ employees that call this facility home. We seek one HR generalist with from 4 to 6+ yrs. experience and one from 1 to 4+ yrs. experience. Duties include:
? Support plant HR operations in an 800-person flagship food manufacturing facility. ? Support the plant Senior HR Manager in driving the company's strong culture, succession management, organizational design, leadership development and assessment. ? Implement and improve on practices vital to establishing positive relationships and promoting a higher level of morale. ? Ensure facility compliance with all existing governmental employment laws, such as, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), California State Labor Law, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), Affirmative Action (AA) the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), the California Pregnancy Disability Leave Act (PDL), Kin Care, and compliance with OFCCP guidelines for equal employment opportunity. ? Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations. ? Conducts internal audits of HR policy and procedure application. ? Coordinates the HRIS system and HR record retention. ? Provides day-to-day benefits administration services. Assists employees with claim issue resolution and ensures the accurate/timely execution of the company benefits program through the coordination of the Administrative Assistants. ? Lead the annual benefits open enrollment process. ? Administers leave of absence program and ensures proper coordination of state disability insurance program. ? Position requires minimum Bachelor’s degree in HR, OD or similar field and, depending on which of the two roles, from 1 to 6+ years HR generalist experience. Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Salary in $85-90,000 base range + 5% bonus potential for the more seasoned role; $80-85,000 + 5% bonus potential for the less seasoned role.
