| We have been retained to recruit a SENIOR WAREHOUSE MANAGER for a California Central Valley (near Fresno) location of a multi-plant, seasonal (July – November), privately held, fast growing, West Coast based food processor. Facility located in smaller community of roughly 7000 within 25 minutes of town of 75,000 and 45 minutes to city of 500,000+. On-site role. Position reports to Administrative Manager and responsible for mgmt.. of all policy, procedure and operational aspects of a 1,000,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Manages personnel, IC, shipping and receiving. Ensures timely and cost-efficient delivery of inventory and finished goods; ensures efficient and effective use of PeopleSoft enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to monitor and track inventory through the distribution chain; ensures timely and appropriate identification and resolution of issues. Manages department lift trucks, trailers and related equipment. Year-round staff size of two Warehouse Supervisors II’s, a Warehouse Supervisor I, and one Warehouse & Facilities Supervisor I with total 78 in-direct reports (mostly forklift drivers). These numbers swell seasonally. Ideal candidate will have manage a large warehouse – of at least 500,000+ sq. ft. Want candidate who can hit the ground running! Food experience preferred but not required. Union experience a plus. Salary in the $120-145,000 range (no bonus) along with competitive benefits and relocation assistance (case by case basis).
