|Our services have been retained to recruit a SR. SALES MANAGER for a growing nutrition manufacturer. Our client is a billion dollar division of major international food & consumer products manufacturer. Reports to the V.P. of Sales and will be PREFERABLY based in specific MO/IL/IN metro (NOT Chicago), although company is open for position to working remotely. Will require 40% to 50% Travel.
The Sr. Sales Manager duties will primarily involve selling directly to PET FOOD manufacturers developing and managing key accounts in all arenas of sales and support throughout the country. Will manage/track sales strategies and goals, and build long term customer sales relationships. Duties will include the development of new products and advertising with marketing department/R&D department and lead teams on cross functional basis to assure safety policies according to customer, company and government standards.
Prefer 5 to 10 years experience in pet food, flavoring or nutritional ingredient sales and 4 year nutrition, animal science degree. MBA or masters degree a plus. Must have current contacts with manufacturers in industry and sales history with clients.
Salary in $100-120,000 base range with potentially significant bonus, and overall very competitive compensation package with strong benefits and excellent growth potential.
