Our services have been retained to recruit a REGULATORY AFFAIRS & CERTIFICATION MANAGER for a Los Angeles area (North of downtown roughly 20 miles) division of international food & beverage manufacturer. Based at corporate location supporting two facilities which employ approximately 200 employees.

The Regulatory Affairs & Certification Manager will direct the regulatory affairs and certification platform of the company and reports to the Director of Technical Services. This individual contributor role will manage the regulatory policies and certification programs of incoming raw materials and finished products at both facilities. Will lead the integration of regulatory policies within the quality and R&D departments; direct regulatory compliances involving product bulk labeling, genetic food modifications, organic documentation, allergens and nutritional specifications; and continuously update data information improving accuracy and customer application. Candidate must apply subject matter expertise related to Kosher, Halal, organic, TTB, IFRA classifications, permits and licenses. etc.

Requires minimum of 4-year degree in a science with 3+ years regulatory affairs certification experience with a food/beverage manufacturing and must have international regulatory and submissions experience applying to global authorities. Minimal travel required.
