|Our services have been retained to recruit several REGIONAL/TERRITORY SALES MANAGERS for a small but growing, privately held 50 year old national natural food manufacturer. The openings exist in their Intermountain Region – generally from the Dakotas to Texas and Colorado to Kansas (must currently live in one of the following states: TX, LA, AR, OK, NM, CO, KS, NE, SD & ND). We seek qualified food industry sales professionals who not only live within one of those states but are willing to travel 50-75%. Positions report to National Sales Manager.
A Regional/ Territory Sales Manager's responsibility is to cultivate relationships, manage broker network, educate retailers and distributors, acquire distribution and merchandising, working in concert with Sales, Marketing, and Purchasing Departments. Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, articulate, and carryout a strategic plan and tactics to nurture business relationships, product knowledge, and merchandising . Manage business consistent with company Terms of Sale and Incentive Agreement system Learn company's personnel and business systems to be able to utilize them Stay abreast of status and changes of industry distribution channels Utilize and manage brokers, distributors, and company staff to accomplish what is needed Coordinate sales efforts as needed with distributor and retailers Communicate timely, appropriately, and efficiently with company staff Align work with company sales and marketing needs and efforts Communicate Company messages consistent with company's strategy, needs, and Terms of Sale Generate and qualify prospects to identify new business, enhanced merchandising, and increased distribution Develop relationships and maintain communication with brokers, distributors, and customers at retail up through corporate Headquarters Provide brokers, distributors, and retailers in the territory with measurable goals Consistently update and maintain accurate Company databases and pertinent business information. Disciplined use of Salesforce CRM software on home, mobile, and head office devices Oversee proper use of company brand intellectual property rights Participate in on-going budgets and projections Provide a pertinent weekly report Job Requirement:
Food industry sales experience, preferably in the dry groceries segment. At least 10+ years food industry sales experience.
Successful track record building healthy relationships with brokers, distributors and retailers at all levels
Good exposure to broker networks, retail and distributors.
Must currently reside within the designated intermountain region (see above)

Salary in the $75-83,000 base range with minor bonus, $500/month car allowance, company credit card, laptop and associated home office expenses and competitive company benefits. These are immediate needs. Please send resume ASAP if any questions or interest.
