|Our services have been retained to recruit a PRODUCTION PLANNER/SCHEDULER for a small, growing, privately held food & beverage company in medium size city about one hour from Indianapolis, Plant located in community of roughly 100,000 offering strong economy with great educational opportunities, superior quality of life and moderate cost-of-living. Facility of 60 hourly personnel processes, packages and ships product nationwide to customers in wholesale, retail & online markets.

This position for the company that will interact with multiple departments including accounting, operations and sales. The position will have a focus on inventory, material, and production planning for the company. The position is responsible to effectively plan, schedule, and manage the movement of raw materials used in our production processes to meet customer demand while maintaining material inventories and expediting the material flow from suppliers. Will be key player in the ERP implementation planned for 4th quarter, 2021.
Key leader in the collaborative relationship between accounting, manufacturing operations and sales. Provide accurate oversight for item creation, bill of materials and costing Responsible for the production planning, scheduling and posting of production into our accounting system. Oversee the schedules for receiving inbound freight for production materials. Develop and review the production plan to ensure that the customer delivery plan is met in the most efficient and cost-effective manner available Responsible for warehouse inventory organization and reconciliations for both internal and external warehouse locations. Seek continuous improvement in existing practices and develop new and improved processes for the company Provide leadership to meet inventory targets and budgets Education and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of production planning and scheduling management experience within a large high-volume manufacturing environment required (preferably within food and/or beverage) College degree preferred but not required Experience in managing multiple supply bases, both internal and external ERP experience required Salary in the $70-85,000 base range along with competitive benefits as well as exciting growth and challenges.
