|Our services have been retained to recruit a PLANT MANAGER for small facility of growing nutrition manufacturer. Our client is a billion dollar division of major international food & consumer products manufacturer. Reports to the V.P. of Operations and will be based in beautiful rural riverfront city (pop.10,000+) in Northwest Iowa offering moderate cost-of-living, robust economy, good schools and private schools, and many outdoor recreational activities. This community is a part of a regional hub offering a variety of medical, shopping, education and entertainment options. The Plant Manager will oversee 25 Associates at a 24/7 facility. Duties include accountability of leadership methods, overseeing safety programs, SPC, data analysis of QA and maintenance programs, capital budgets, projects and equipment, establish policies, develop staff, manage according to company regulations and Federal/state laws, oversee new technologies, continuous improvement, plant optimization, MF/RO system, and establish models for safety of team members.
Need Bachelors degree (prefer in technical/engineering degree) with 5 to 7 years food/beverage plant operations/supply chain experience as a Operations Manager/small Plant Manager overseeing salaried and hourly employees Prefer Spray Drying or egg experience.
Salary up to the $100,000 base range with historically extremely generous bonus program (a lower base is leveraged with exceptional bonus potential), overall very competitive compensation package with strong benefits, excellent growth potential and solid relocation assistance.
